Junior/Senior Band

The Junior/Senior Band, directed by Mr. Martin Hall is composed of members of the Pickett County High School and the members of the Pickett County K-8. The pep band makes an annual trip to Disney's Music Festival, and plays at every home varsity basketball game. Pickett County is fortunate to have this excellent group of students. Some say this is the best High School band in the state!

Pickett County FFA

The Pickett County High School Future Farmers of America is one of the school's largest and most active clubs. This organization is headed by Mr. Randy Garrett. The FFA takes part in many local, district, regional, and state competitions. Pickett County FFA has won numerous awards and recognitions.

Art & Drama Club

The Art & Drama Club consists of students interested in the arts. The mastermind behind this club is Mrs. Janet Alley. The Art & Drama Club participate in many art competitions, put on productions for the school and the public, and take an annual trip to the Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina. This is also a very popular club for students to participate in.

Journalism Staff

This team is made up of the schools most elite seniors. To be invited to participate on the Journalism Staff, one must be recommended by a teacher. Mrs. Dosha Cooksey is the Journalism expert. She is very dedicated, and cares about each and everyone of her students. This staff publishes the bi-monthly edition of the BOBCAT TRACKS, and also makes the school's yearbook, the PICKETT STAR.

Varsity Club

The Varsity Club is composed of students whom participate in school athletics. Athletics are a huge part of the school's extracurricular activities. These students are among the schools best. Not only do they excell in sports, but in the classroom as well.
