County Business Buildings
for Rent, Sale or Lease
........................
Are you looking for a business opportunity near Dale Hollow
Lake? Pickett County has built its work ethic by overcoming
adversity and have citizens that are hard working, flexible
and well educated. Losing the greatest area of fertile farmland
after the Corps of Engineers flooding which formed Dale Hollow
Lake in the middle 1940's, the citizens of Pickett County
have diversified by starting family businesses, textile industry,
hardwood manufacturing and logging and many families moved
away to the north. The textile industry at one time employed
over 1,000 residents in Pickett County, and the majority of
these workers have now been retrained and are eager and willing
to work.
Over the last decade, the Pickett County Industrial Business
Development Board has been active in securing additional industry
and businesses. One of their most notable accomplishments
was securing global Hutchinson FTS, a Tier 1 Automotive parts
supplier owned by Total Elf Fina, the 4th largest oil conglomerate
in the world, who base their worldwide headquarters in France.
Hutchinson employs over 325 employees in Byrdstown and employ
over 350 in Livingston, Tennessee, 17 miles south of Byrdstown.
Byrdstown, Pickett County is ready to progress and is currently
investing in land to build an industrial/business park and
attracting new business to offer employment for its residents.
The Pickett County Industrial Business Development Board,
has infrastructure in place and has a portfolio of buildings
and suitable retail land available for industry or businesses.
Contact us today to show you a small rural community, ready
and willing to work, who would like to invest in new businesses
and at the same time make newcomers feel welcome and give
them nature's beauty at their doorstep! Below you will find
