| Students
of the Pickett Coutny High art classes learn a variety
of information about the art world. Art History classes
learn of past artists who have helped to influence today's
art styles. Students also learn of the different art styles
and techniques. The Visual Art classes are taught on a
more advanced level. In this class students must be masters
of the basics. Most assignments are hands-on activities,
so the basics are vital. Students work with such media
as acrylic paint, pencil, color pencil, charcoal, among
other mediums. Pickett County art classes are taught by
Mrs. Janet Alley, and the school is home to many talented
students. |
